No, Dick! No!

I bought the best fabric in the whole world (ok, ok, the best fabric that can be bought within a two hour drive of my house) for my presentation, "Form an orderly queue, ladies." (Have you signed up yet? Go do that now. Tell 'em I sent you.) Here it is:

It's awesome. I love it. Love love love it!

Except they didn't have enough left on the bolt to give me the full 2m that I wanted. I thought I'd have enough. I don't.

 It doesn't fit!

At least it doesn't fit if I want the words to be right-way up on the sleeves (which I do). I am unhappy in ways I can't even explain. I've even tried different patterns for blouses. It's simply not enough fabric. This is awesome fabric that really must be on stage with me during my presentations. Any suggestions? Please!

Any chance you can make the

Any chance you can make the sleeves from different fabric? Maybe a solid color that matches one of the text colors? Stripes? A very short sleeve with a band of solid color at the hem?

Do you have enough to cut

Do you have enough to cut the sleeves with a centre seam . (It looks as if you do from your picture) Just make the seam a fashion detail with some nice top stitching. If the words don't match up don't worry, most people will be seeing you from the front not the side ;-)

Now (having just found your

Now (having just found your blog) I find your two-fabric top wasn't intended to be two-fabric! I think it worked out really well. And making a top specially to give a presentation is an ace idea! :)
