From a hotel in Belleville

Elizabeth recommended driving to Belleville because it's half way from Toronto to Ottawa and so here I am. Why Toronto and why Ottawa? In Toronto I had meetings with three different clients. All three are moving over to Drupal. In Ottawa I'll be attending BSDCan (at least that's my plan, I've technically missed the registration deadline, but I have a feeling they'll take cash at the door) and checking in with Sarah (and Evan) and Leslie.
I'm also going to be back in Toronto again next weekend for more meetings and Drupal Camp Toronto. At this rate it looks like I'll be presenting a session on migrating content into Drupal. There's still lots of voting to be done though! Let's see how it all shakes out.
It was great to see you last night. I hope Belleville was everything I promised. Let me know if you're interested in drinks / knitting / hanging out when you're back in Toronto.
I love ‘selective comments,’ things that are said somewhere, but don’t really make sense anywhere other than in that space and time. For example, I was at a pet store on 72nd Street the other day and I heard a customer say this:
“I’m from the Upper East Side and I called about your Guinea Pigs.”
