Playing Hooky to See the Skipper

This is my niece and her accompanist performing at their school year end talent show. We were also treated to Scottish dance, a comedian, violin, a lot of karaoke singing and a rock band.
I haven't enjoyed myself so thoroughly since their Christmas pageant (where the boys did some kind of ethnic dance with scarves). The only stressful part was the voting. That's right--the adults were asked to vote for their favourite performance. Do you know how hard it is to rate a kid out of ten who is completely out of tune, but brave enough to stand up in front of a whole school and belt their song out? It's really hard.
Three cheers to Sarah for her original performance!!
Hey! Interpretive dance with skipping and live accompaniment! Way to go Sarah and friend!
